This niggun is known as the Rostover Nigun. It is also known as the Ma’amer niggun, as it was usually sung before the Rebbe began his Torah or Chassidic discourses (ma’amar). My performance of this niggun is dedicated to my son, Baruch Eliyahu, who is learning the ma’amer in preparation for his Bar Mitzvah.
