The incomparable novelty pianist extraordinaire Vincent Johnson and myself playing an unrehearsed duet of Kitten on the Keys by Zez Confrey at a Rose Leaf Ragtime Club meeting. Kitten on the Keys is Vincent’s signature piece, although he played fun harmonies and counter melodies to my piano part. It is always a fun and a special honor to play duets with such an accomplished and talented pianist as Vincent.
